Objective:  Sink City is a game of chance and strategy that requires four players, representing 4 different countries. The objective is to find the 3 missing map pieces, the key and to reach the island of Atlantis before any other country does.

Deciding who goes first:  You roll the dice and the player with the highest number goes first; the players then play in clockwise order.

What each player gets at the beginning of the game:
- 2 attack cards
- 4 identical map pieces (you hold on one for yourself and give the other 3 to the other 3 players that come to  your country)
- 1 key with a symbol on it

Getting Started
- You all receive a key that you have to hide. You hide the key for the player sitting across from you. For example, if you are Greece, you hide Rome’s key and Rome hides Greece’s key.
- To hide the key you pick a grid number and write it down on a piece of paper and put it in the treasure box.
-You can't hide the key on a gray or red space.

How to play:
- To get out of a country, you need to roll a number greater than 6 or doubles.
-If you roll doubles, you get an extra turn.
- You roll the 2 die simultaneously. The yellow die determines the number of moves you can move horizontally and the green die
determines the number of spaces you can move vertically. You can move forward or backwards in either direction. After you roll, you decide your move based on the best strategy for you. YOU CAN ONLY MOVE HORIZONTALLY OR VERTICALLY; NO DIAGONAL MOVEMENTS ALLOWED.
- Once you get out of your country, you travel across the board going to the other 3 countries trying to collect the map pieces.
- To obtain a map piece you must enter the country and to get out of the country need to roll a number greater than 6 or doubles. For example, if you are trying to get a map piece from Rome, you must land in the country.
- Once you have obtained all the 4 map pieces, you can start to find your key.
- Once you have the key and the 4 map pieces you can enter Atlantis from the side of the gate that matches up with the symbol on your key.

What happens on the red spaces?
- These are the clue spaces. If you land on this space, you can ask the player hiding your key to give you a clue as to where your key is hidden.
- The player can only tell you the 10 numbers your key is hidden in between. For example: Your key is hidden between 40-50.

What happens on the gray spaces?
- These are the obstacles. If you land here, you pick up a card and do what it says.

How to find the key
- Once you have all the map pieces you try to find your key. If you land in any space that is only 1 box away from the hidden spot, the person hiding your key says you have found it and hands you the key. For example, if your key is hidden at grid number 132 and you land on any one of these numbers, 111-113, 131, 147, 149 or 133, the person hiding your key hands you your key. In other words to obtain your key, you have to be one space away in any direction from the exact location.

How to win
- Once you have all the 4 map pieces and your key you can enter Atlantis. You can only enter Atlantis from the side of the gate that matches the symbol on your key.
